Into the Breach becomes the first European team to be eliminated from BLAST R6 Major Manchester Phase 2 — SiegeGG

Banner image: Ubisoft / João F. @itsmeERROR

Into the Breach has been eliminated from the BLAST R6 Major Manchester following today’s defeat to Beastcoast. Before today’s defeat to North America, the majority British squad had fallen to Bleed Esports and M80.

Unfortunately for the Europeans, Beastcoast quickly took full control of the series with a quick 7-2 victory over Nighthaven Labs. In the end, Beastcoast’s 4-2 half attacking Bank proved to be enough as they won map two with a score of 7-5.

Former Soniqs player Shaun “Gunnar” Pottorff was the best player of the series with a SiegeGG rating of 1.54 and a KD of 26-10 (+16). Meanwhile, former DarkZero Esports player Gaven “Gaveni” Black had an average rating of 1.38 and a KD of 21-13 (+8).

Thanks to this result, Beastcoast, who previously defeated CAG Osaka and pushed Six Invitational 2024 grand finalists FaZe Clan to maximum overtime on Skyscraper, will play tomorrow in what will be their last chance to make the Manchester Top 8.

Although Into the Breach has already been eliminated from the first Major of the calendar, the players will avoid 15th and 16th positions thanks to their victory against Spacestation Gaming on May 19 – meaning they will add 65 SI points to the 95 SI points achieved points in the Europa League 2024 phase 1.

Down blocks very well and gets to LBs quickly. Good downfield blocker. Pulls well on TE counters. His solid defensive play contributed to our overall defensive success. Never got off the field on both sides of the ball.

Sonos Launches Roam 2 Portable Speaker in Canada • iPhone in Canada Blog

    Sonos roam2Sonos roam2

In addition to unveiling the Sonos Ace headphones, Sonos today also launched the Roam 2, a refresh of its popular Roam portable speaker.

The Roam 2 sees several improvements, including easier operation and faster setup, again for users looking for high-quality audio in a small compact speaker. This time? You can use it straight out of the box and avoid the hassle of setting up via Wi-Fi like a regular Sonos speaker.

The speaker once again delivers the same rich, detailed audio and bass that provides the clarity, depth and fullness typically expected from larger speakers. So the audio is still the same in this incremental upgrade.

In terms of design, the Roam 2 has an updated look with a sleek monochromatic logo and separate, discreet power and Bluetooth buttons, making it easier to use. In the past, the power button served as many functions.

The Roam 2 includes automatic Trueplay technology, which ensures optimal tuning for the best listening experience in any environment, whether connected via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. Apple’s AirPlay 2 is also supported, while you can also control it with Amazon Alexa.

The speaker offers up to 10 hours of continuous playback on a single charge and has an IP67 rating making it dust and completely waterproof. The speaker can withstand splashes, dirt, heat and cold, making it a reliable companion for outdoor activities.

Roam 2 is now available in five colors: Olive, Sunset, Wave, Black and White. The Sonos Roam 2 is available worldwide starting today, May 21, for $229 in Canada.

Elsbeth Season 1 Episode 10 Spoilers: Fashion turns fatal in Elsbeth’s finale

The finals have finally arrived! It’s been a good season of digging for the Chicago transplant turned unofficial homicide detective.

But all things, good or bad, and that means Elsbeth’s functional floral fashion, must come to an end.

However, Elsbeth Season 1 Episode 10 seems difficult to sort out. The only obvious thing is that a fashion photographer is murdered, possibly by gunshot.

    Elsbeth Season 1 Episode 10 - A fitting finale - Spoilers

The promo left a lot to be desired in terms of directions. But since Elsbeth is a ‘howcatchem’, all the relevant details will be laid out within the first five minutes of the episode.

It’s just not very clear who the killer could be, but if we go by who was featured the most in the trailer and who was the most recognizable face, it’s probably Laura Benanti who plays runway model Nadine.

    Nadine - Elsbeth Season 1 Episode 10 - A fitting finale

I’m more inclined to believe she’s the killer, for a number of reasons.

The first was that I immediately recognized her as Kiki Hope from the Max reboot of The CW show, Gossip Girl. Plus, she’s a familiar face from The Good Wife universe.

Laura Benanti played Renata Ellard on The Good Wife Season 5, Episode 19, “Tying the Knot.” Based on these criteria, Benanti’s character is likely the killer.

Still, the show might decide to fool the audience by throwing a monkey wrench, which is the formulaic protocol that Elsbeth has been up to this point.

Since this episode will be steeped in the world of New York fashion, we can at least hope that someone gives Elsbeth some advice on how to style her wardrobe.

Elsbeth and Reporter - Elsbeth Season 1 Episode 10 - A fitting finale

Of course, the character has every right to wear whatever she wants, but after nine episodes, the loud patterns are a bit rough on the eyesight.

Fashion choices aside, it seems like many viewers got our wish in the form of canine companionship.

In some photos Elsbeth can be seen with a well-known purebred puppy.

After the journalist was murdered in Elsbeth Season 1 Episode 8, “Artificial Genius,” his stolen dog was left without an owner.

Elsbeth was ready to take in the orphaned dog, but it was not clear whether it would become a permanent home for the adorable pooch.

    Elsbeth in the city - 2 - Elsbeth Season 1 Episode 10 - A fitting finale

Speaking of things that need to stay here, it looks like Wagner is finally out of the doghouse.

The captain not only gathered the evidence he needed against Lieutenant Noonan in a timely manner, but also managed to bring in the corrupt cop.

Even though the case is closed and the season is almost over, I’m still not entirely convinced that Claudia, Captain Wagner’s wife, was in no way involved in the cover-up.

Maybe it’s the inherent tension that comes with watching a murder mystery show, but it’s hard to believe that the writers kept her name in every episode just to give her innocent collateral damage.

It seems strange to focus on anything other than the dark cloud that lingered over the titular character’s plight after Elsbeth Season 1, Episode 9.

Elsbeth with pink hat - Elsbeth Season 1 Episode 10 - A fitting finale

A lot happened in the previous episode about a murderous cocktail bar owner, but nothing could have prepared viewers for the last few minutes.

When we last left Elsbeth, she had just finished helping Captain Wagner bring Lieutenant Noonan to justice.

It was a happy moment shared by both the characters and the audience.

That moment of joy was short-lived, however, as the captain wasted no time in telling Elsbeth to leave his police station.

Granted, he didn’t say it in those exact words because Wagner is a gentleman, but he might as well have.

    Captain Wagner - Elsbeth Season 1 Episode 10 - A fitting finale

To make matters worse, he read Elsbeth for dirt by telling her that he could never trust her as she had come to New York with a hidden agenda to investigate him.

That certainly stung. But the good captain is not wrong. Everything Elsbeth did for Officer Celetano was shady, even if it was in the name of justice.

This will be a difficult situation for Detective Donnelly.

The investigator was last seen in Elsbeth Season 1, Episode 7, “Something Blue”, where he was much friendlier with Elsbeth and Kaya.

The big question now is: what will happen to Kaya? The officer has been through her own whirlwind this season.

    Kaya & Elsbeth - Elsbeth Season 1 Episode 10 - A fitting finale

From being saddled with the new, crazy ‘cop’ that turned into an unexpected friendship, to discovering that her mentor and boss she looks up to might be a corrupt cop.

After all that, you’d think the show’s writers would throw the character a bone — or at least an adorable dog of his own.

Some of the photos for the season finale lean towards a heartfelt goodbye between Elsbeth and Kaya, but most of all I hope I have that behind me.

It’s the last episode and there’s still no word or mention of Teddy, Elsbeth’s son.

You may recognize the name because it literally comes up in every episode.

We’re hoping for a last-minute cameo where he comes through the police station door or Elsbeth’s front door and says, “Mom?”

Elsbeth Close Up - Elsbeth Season 1 Episode 10 - A fitting finale

That would be a pretty epic way to end the episode and keep audiences on the edge of their seats for next season without leaving too much up in the air.

It’s been a fun and murderous road since Elsbeth season 1, episode 1, but the series has consistently provided plenty of laughs in between moments of quality police detection.

However and however the show ends its first season, it will undoubtedly be campy and quirky, as that is the bread and butter of the series.

What do you hope we’ll see in Elsbeth’s season 1 finale?

Do you have a favorite guest appearance?

The Bear star Jeremy Allen White has said he ‘really enjoys’ co-star Ayo Edebiri ‘on and off camera’.

The actors play chefs and business partners Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto and Sydney Adamu in the comedy-drama series, which premiered in 2022.

Viewers are rooting for a romance between the two characters, with some also hoping the heat from the kitchen will affect their off-screen relationship too.

This week, photos and videos of Jeremy, 33, and Ayo, 28, attending a baseball game in Chicago with some of their co-stars were shared on social media.

However, a clip of him rubbing her back sent fans wild, with some saying they struggled to say “calm” about how close they are.

One fan wrote that “the work wife-husband relationship is going crazy,” while another said they “don’t touch my friends like that.”

Today an interview was released in which the couple talked about each other.

In a profile of the actress for Vanity Fair, Jeremy said they “really enjoy each other in life, both on and off camera.”

‘I have enormous respect for her as a person, but also as an artist.

“And so I hope that stuff like that shines through on camera between Carm and Syd.”

As the writer noted, the actor was so eager to talk about his co-star that “he made time to talk to me within a day of being asked — which never happens.”

“Syd is always able to… I don’t know, give Carmy something else, and she’s usually right,” he adds. “And I think Ayo is usually right too,” Jeremy continued.

Speaking about their relationship, Ayo then said: ‘Work can be something very intimate, something very personal and something very emotional, and I think if you also work in sectors that are creative or creatively adjacent, I think there is something that also evokes feelings of passion.

‘The boy also has beautiful blue eyes. You know what I mean? Those are eyes you want to project on,” she added.

But when she showed off a photo from Jeremy’s shirtless Calvin Klein photoshoot backstage at the 2024 Golden Globes, she said, “I’m just happy for him.” That’s my boy, you know what I mean? I feel like… I want people to understand that he’s my colleague!’

Despite fans throwing their support behind the pair becoming a real-life couple, Jeremy is actually dating Spanish singer Rosalía, 31.

In February, Ayo sparked speculation that she was dating Paul Mescal after they shared a photo in a stairwell celebrating St. Patrick’s Day together.

However, fans then shared that they believed the pair were instead working on an upcoming project together and wanted to tease the news.

The Bear season 3 can be streamed on Disney Plus from June 27.
